Visanee Tantisevi obtained medical degree with honours from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, and completed Diploma in Ophthalmology and Glaucoma Fellowship training at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Bangkok. Later, she received Certificate in Clinical Glaucoma Fellowship from The Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA), University of Melbourne, Australia.
Dr Tantisevi currently holds a number of appointments including Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology; Deputy Chairman of International Affairs; Senior Instructor; Residents’ Advisory board & Postgraduates subcommittee; Chief and Consultant of Glaucoma unit at the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok Thailand.
She is also appointed Glaucoma Consultant at Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health in Bangkok. She is the Public Relations and International Affairs officer for the Thai Glaucoma Society and a reviewer for a few Journals in Ophthalmology.
In addition, Dr Tantisevi is now a board member of Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society.
She also carries a lot of experiences in many fields. She has been doing, mentoring and participating in glaucoma diagnosis and therapeutic researches both locally and internationally. She has been entrusted to be the organizing team lead in numerous successful national and international scientific meetings as well as being invited to speak and chair sessions in various national and international scientific conferences.
