Dr. Huijuan Wu is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Peking University People’s Hospital, Beijing. Dr. Wu received her medical degree from Peking University Health Science Center and graduated with honors. Following ophthalmology residency at the Peking University People’s Hospital, she completed glaucoma clinical research fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. She has engaged in clinical and scientific research in ophthalmology, and performed more than 7,000 surgeries. She served as primary investigator (PI) of 4 major projects, including National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program) and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). She has been co-authored in more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and has been authorized 4 national patents.
