Mr K. Sheng Lim is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and Glaucoma & Research lead for Ophthalmology Department at St Thomas’ Hospital, London.
He qualified from University of Leicester Medical School in 1991 and trained in general ophthalmology in London during his residency program. He subsequently received glaucoma training at Moorfields Eye Hospital as a glaucoma fellow.
In 1997, Mr Sheng Lim spent more than two years at Institute of Ophthalmology, Moorfields Eye Hospital and University of Brighton researching a new type of implant for glaucoma treatment as part of his doctorate degree from University College London.
In 2001, he received a scholarship from the International Glaucoma Association to study human aqueous dynamics for one year at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
His current research interests are exclusively in human aqueous dynamics and treatment for glaucoma.
