Jin Wook Jeoung, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul National University College of Medicine, Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Jeoung graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine. He completed internship, residency, and glaucoma fellowship at Seoul National University Hospital.

He was awardee of “APGS Young Investigator Award (2016)”, “APAO Achievement Award (2017)”, “AAO Achievement Award (2016)”, “Bonsool Koo Academy Award from Korean Ophthalmological Society (2013)”, “Yulsan Academy Award from Korean Ophthalmological Society (2010)”, “Taejoon Academy Award from Korean Ophthalmological Society (2008)”, “Excellent Poster Presentation Award from Korean Ophthalmological Society (2006)”, and “Honorary Professor Award from Seoul National University College of Medicine (2001)”.

Dr. Jeoung has published more than 90 papers in international peer reviewed SCI journals. His current research interests include the RNFL and ganglion cell imaging, pathophysiology of glaucoma, risk factors of glaucoma, and glaucoma genetics. He is a Director of Strategic Planning of the Korean Glaucoma Society.
